Overview
National Recreation Systems engineers grandstand seating for stadiums and large venues. In the bleacher industry anything over 33 feet long counts as high capacity, and NRS builds standard series and fully custom systems across that range: projects run from 102 seats with 4 ADA positions up to 3,034 seats with 24 ADA positions.
These systems have gone into high school and college football stadiums, soccer grounds, baseball parks, rugby facilities, and rodeo arenas over nearly 40 years of NRS manufacturing. Each grandstand is custom engineered per project, with PE stamped drawings available for permitting.
Configurations
- Angle frame grandstands: the workhorse for level sites, installed on a concrete foundation or earth anchors, framed in aluminum or galvanized steel, with seating from 15 up to roughly 2,000.
- Elevated grandstands: first row 5 feet above grade for sightlines over dugouts and fencing, with a 63 inch front walkway, aisles with handrails, entry stairs with contrasting nosing, and ramp options; layouts run 5 to 20 rows.
- High school stadium packages: custom dimensions, ADA compliant seating and ramps, and prefabricated press boxes designed together with the grandstand.
- Guardrail in chain link or vertical picket, backrest and contour seat options, and renovation programs for existing systems.
