Refund policy

At a Glance
- 30 days from delivery to initiate a return on most products

- Items must be unused, in original packaging, with all parts and instructions
- Custom-built and made-to-order products are not returnable unless defective

1. General Return Policy
You may return most products within 30 days of delivery for a refund, subject to the conditions below.
To qualify for a return:
- Item must be unused, in resalable condition, in its original packaging, with all hardware, manuals, and accessories included
- Order must have an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number issued by Game Court Supplies before the item is shipped back
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
- Original outbound shipping is non-refundable (freight on large items represents a substantial real cost)
- A 25% restocking fee is deducted from the refund on non-defective returns
Refund is issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after the returned item is received and inspected by the manufacturer's warehouse.
2. How to Start a Return
- Email info@gamecourtsupplies.com within 30 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- The product(s) you want to return
- Reason for return
- Photos if applicable (required for defects/damage)
- We will respond within 1–2 business days with your RMA number, return shipping instructions, and the destination warehouse address.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging with the RMA number clearly marked on the outside.
- Ship the package using a tracked carrier service (we recommend keeping proof of shipment).
- Once the item is received and inspected by the supplier, your refund is processed within 5–10 business days.
Returns sent without an RMA number will be refused at the warehouse and shipped back at your expense.
3. Brand-Specific Exceptions
The following exceptions override the general policy in Section 1:
Dominator (basketball hoops, large LTL freight items)
- Return window: 7 days from delivery (not 30)
- After 7 days, only warranty claims are accepted
- Custom-made Dominator products are not returnable
Douglas Sports — Custom Items
The following Douglas products are made-to-order and not returnable unless defective:
- Custom-printed windscreens
- Custom curtains and gym dividers
- Wall padding (custom-sized or custom-printed)
- Any item marked "Custom Pro" or made to your specifications
Standard Douglas Sports items (nets, hardware, accessories, stock-size pads) follow the general 30-day policy.
Gared Performance Sports (institutional bleachers, backstops, custom systems)
- All Gared products are quote-based, made-to-spec institutional orders
- Not returnable except in cases of manufacturer defect or freight damage documented at delivery (see Section 5)
- Warranty terms apply per Section 8
Shinetoo LED Lighting
- All Shinetoo lighting is custom-spec and not returnable
- Defects covered under warranty: replacement, credit, or equivalent product at the manufacturer's discretion (no cash refunds)
- Defect notice must be submitted within 90 days of discovery
4. Items NOT Eligible for Return
The following are excluded from our return policy under all circumstances:
- Custom-printed, custom-sewn, custom-cut, or made-to-order products of any brand
- Products that have been installed (drilled mounting holes, anchored bases, electrical wiring done, hardware modifications, etc.)
- Items missing original packaging, instructions, hardware, or any included parts
- Freight-damaged items where damage was not noted on the carrier's bill of lading at the time of delivery (see Section 5)
- Products purchased through our quote-only sales channel (Gared institutional orders, Shinetoo lighting projects)
- Items marked "Final Sale" or sold as clearance
5. Damaged or Defective Items
This is handled separately from standard returns. We coordinate directly with the manufacturer to repair, replace, or refund affected items at no additional cost to you.
Damaged on arrival (LTL freight)
Inspect the freight before signing the carrier's bill of lading (BOL).
- Note any visible damage on the BOL before signing — this is your only chance to preserve a damage claim
- If damage is severe, you may refuse delivery (call us first if possible)
- If you sign the BOL "clean" (no damage noted), the carrier's liability is closed and damage claims become significantly harder
If you discover concealed damage after delivery (item was packaged in a way that hid the damage):
- Photograph the packaging, the damage, and the BOL within 48 hours of delivery
- Contact us at info@gamecourtsupplies.com with the photos and your order number
- We open a damage claim with the carrier and arrange repair, replacement, or refund
Defective items (manufacturer defect)
If a product fails due to a manufacturing defect within the warranty period (see Section 8):
- Contact us at info@gamecourtsupplies.com with your order number, photos, and a description of the defect
- We coordinate the warranty claim with the manufacturer
- The manufacturer determines the remedy: repair, replacement, or refund per their warranty terms
There is no restocking fee on defective items, and we cover return freight on confirmed defects.
6. Refunds
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method only
- Processing begins after the returned item is received and inspected by the manufacturer's warehouse
- Refunds typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days of approval (bank processing time may vary up to 21 days)
- Original outbound shipping is not refunded on non-defective returns
- The 25% restocking fee is deducted from the refund amount on non-defective returns
- Defective items: full refund, no restocking fee, return freight covered
7. Order Cancellations
- Standard items: orders can be cancelled at no charge before they ship from the warehouse
- LTL freight items: cancellation is possible before the carrier picks up the shipment; once dispatched, the order becomes a return (subject to Section 1)
- Custom and made-to-order items: orders can be cancelled only before production begins. Once production has started, cancellation is not possible
- Quote-only orders (Gared, Shinetoo): cancellation terms are confirmed at the time of quote
To cancel an order, email info@gamecourtsupplies.com with your order number as soon as possible. Cancellation is not guaranteed until you receive written confirmation from us.
8. Manufacturer Warranties
Game Court Supplies passes through each manufacturer's warranty on the products we sell. We do not issue our own warranty — we coordinate warranty claims on your behalf with the manufacturer.

Warranties are voided by improper installation, unauthorized modifications, misuse, vandalism, fire/flood/disaster damage, and operation outside manufacturer specifications.
To file a warranty claim, contact info@gamecourtsupplies.com with your order number, photos of the issue, and a description.
9. Customer-Responsible Fees
You may be charged for the following only if caused by your action or inaction:
- Return shipping costs on non-defective returns
- The 25% restocking fee on non-defective returns
- Original outbound shipping (non-refundable on non-defective returns)
- Re-delivery fees if the carrier cannot complete delivery due to inaccurate address, missed appointment, or restricted access (see Shipping Policy Section 8)
- Address-change fees charged by the carrier after the shipment has left the warehouse
