Description

The Douglas Straightliner was developed over 35 years ago and is the original tennis court line tape machine! The Straightliner is the fastest and easiest tool to mask court boundaries for striping tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, and other surfaces where precision straight-line markings are required. This proven design is built to last for years of maintenance free service.

This industrial painter’s tape machine lays straight parallel masking lines precisely and evenly up to 3” apart. The tape width can be changed in seconds by simply swapping out the white plastic guides. The Straightliner makes any precision line making operation easy, quick, and accurate. The Straightliner Plus tool will mask straight and curved lines.

How to Use

Instead of applying tape on your hands and knees, this tool makes it as simple as pushing the machine along the court surface to create accurate lines.

First, set the Straightliner up with the masking tape at the desired width.  To produce a straight line, stretch a string or create a chalk line in the center of the line to be painted. Align the tape machine over the center of the line; matching the pointer guide with the chalk line.

Next, just push and roll the tape machine to mask all the lines of the court. As the Straightliner is pushed, the rollers pull the tape through the guides and affix the tape firmly to the surface creating professionally straight and accurately spaced lines. See installation instructions for a detailed outline of how to use the tape machine.
